Having prepared some lean turkey burgers yesterday, I wanted something a little different than the traditional burger. And I thought….’why the hell shouldn’t I put it on a bagel?’ And so bagels were on the menu!
Mix all the burger ingredients in a bowl with your hands. Get stuck in there! Have a good play with your food.
Divide this into your 3 patties. I did mine the night before and popped them in the fridge to firm the patties. If you haven’t prepared quite as well, maybe throw them in the freezer for a quick firming.
Simply fry the patties in coconut oil. Roughly 5 minutes either side.
Toast your bagels and fry up your eggs when there is 3 mins left and chop up your other ingredients ready to top the burgers. I had mine with a few veggies on the side.
These bagels are more than enough for your carb intake! I would recommend cutting this in half or into quarters if you don’t want to finish your meal looking like you have had a fight in a burger bar! haha.
This is a bit of a treat meal but in all honesty, all of these ingredients are still damn good healthy ones! So don’t feel too guilty about it!
